Unlocking the Health Benefits of Carrot, Apple, and Ginger Juice

How I Incorporated a Nutritious Carrot, Apple, and Ginger Juice into My Daily Routine for Improved Health and Wellbeing

Hey everyone!

Today, I’m excited to share something that I will be making apart of my daily health routine—making a delicious carrot, apple, and ginger juice! Kit has been making this juice for us for awhile now and I’m going to actually learn how to make this juice myself.  Plus I’m going to learn how to assemble and disassemble the juicer, make juice, and clean the juicer for the first time.  Join me as Kit walks me through the basics of making this amazing juice.

Discovering the Perfect Blend

So we’re in the kitchen, where Kit showed me the ropes of juicing. Our first concoction? A vibrant mix of carrots, apples, and a hint of ginger for that spicy kick.  Kit loves putting a lot of ginger into his juices. I found the process of making the juice was straightforward and fun, including a few laughs about how much ginger to add—Kit likes a little too much!  🤣

The Ingredients and Their Benefits

  • Carrots: Not only do they provide a sweet, earthy base, but they’re also great for the eyes and skin, thanks to their high vitamin A content.
  • Apples: They add a natural sweetness and are rich in antioxidants.

  • Ginger: It gives the juice a zesty spark and boasts anti-inflammatory properties.

I think that when you’re making juice it’s really all about what you like. There is no right or wrong way to make the juice. More carrots? No problem. A bit more ginger? Absolutely! It’s all about what feels right for you.

I’ve provided some basic carrot, apple, ginger juice recipes below for you to try out.  Use them as a guide, and remember you can make your juice any way you like.

Making It a Lifestyle Change

Integrating this juice into my routine has been easier than I expected. Whether it’s every day or every other day, depending on my schedule, it’s become a part of my wellness ritual. And yes, sometimes that means juicing in between gym sessions in our home gym setup where I keep active—30 minutes a day dedicated to me!

Health Meets Lifestyle

In the second part of the video I give you a quick home gym tour.  Kit has setup an incredible space for us to workout at home.  One of the neat features he implemented was smart lights.  The lights are controlled by Siri and Apple Home.  So to turn on the lights all you have to do is say:  Hey Siri, turn on lights in home gym, and the lights come on.

While giving the tour I show you briefly what my new workout looks like.  It’s basically a 30 minute walk on my Peloton treadmill.

I turn it over to Kit briefly so that he can explain all the different equipment in the gym.  I’m going to try to start using more of the weights over the next few months.

I hope this peek into my journey with carrot, apple, and ginger juice inspires you to try it out. Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste and watch as this small ritual makes a big difference to your health!
